How can filtering your data improve your reputation?
Regardless of how much data you bring in each day, the ability to filter it can drastically improve your reputation among other companies. While some larger companies like to receive any type of information regardless of the fields included, smaller companies and marketers often times have to be more careful with what they’re receiving and sending. Filtering your outgoing feeds will allow you to only send data with the required fields that your clients request as well as complete records instead of partial ones. This is useful for targeting specific email domains such as AOL, Yahoo, or Hotmail for selection or suppression, making sure a physical mailing address is included, and only sending records that have phone numbers included to your CRMs.
Below is an example of a few filters that can be set. In this case we have email domain equaling only yahoo.com and aol.com emails, phone records that are empty being suppressed meaning that the leads must have a number included, and the state equaling FL (Florida), CA (California), and TX (Texas).
